1. Uplighting and Dance Floor Lighting
Lighting changes a room more than any other single upgrade. Ambiance uplighting places lights around the ballroom walls in the color of your choice, so you can match your wedding palette or your quinceañera theme. It’s $450 as an add-on and already included in the Paradise Package.
Want the dance floor to feel like a club? The Party Pack ($300) adds 75 glow sticks for guests, colored strobe lights, and uplighting that changes color with the music. It’s a favorite for Sweet 16s, quinceañeras, and any party where the dance floor is the main event.
2. Custom Monograms and Monogrammed Dance Floors
A monogram makes the room feel like it was built for you. Pelazzio offers two options:
- Custom monogram projection ($300): your names, initials, or a custom design projected onto the wall.
- Monogrammed dance floor ($600): a custom monogrammed white vinyl floor that looks stunning in overhead photos of your first dance or vals.
Both work for weddings, quinceañeras, and milestone birthdays, and they pair well with uplighting in a matching color.
3. Cold Sparklers and Dancing on a Cloud
These two effects create the “everyone grab your phone” moment.
Indoor sparklers ($165 each, minimum of 2) are cold sparklers that look like a fountain of fireworks but are designed for indoor ballrooms. Couples use them to frame the first dance, the grand entrance, or the cake cutting.
Dancing on a Cloud ($300) uses dry ice and heated water to create a thick, low cloud that rolls across the dance floor for about 3 to 5 minutes, just long enough for a first dance, a father-daughter dance, or a quinceañera’s waltz.
Want both? The Sparkler & Cloud Pack is $550. For more ways to use them, see our creative wedding entrance ideas.
4. Photo Booths and Glam Photo Areas
Guests love leaving with something, and photo booths keep the energy up all night. Pelazzio has three formats:
- Classic photo booth: 4 continuous hours with a gold or silver backdrop, props, and printed photos.
- 360 photo booth: 3 continuous hours. Guests stand on a platform while the camera spins around them, creating slow-motion videos made for Instagram and TikTok.
- Magic Mirror: a full-length, touch-screen mirror with ring lighting and custom templates. Learn more in our Magic Mirror photo booth guide, and ask your Event Specialist for pricing.
For a glam photo area, pair a booth with an upgraded backdrop (a flower wall or ceremony arch, from $225) and marquee letters (from $275) spelling out a name, initials, or “15.”
5. The LED Robot Show
The LED robot is one of the most-requested party upgrades at Houston quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, and weddings. A performer in a light-up robot suit takes over the dance floor with high-energy music and light effects, usually right after dinner, when the party needs a lift. Pelazzio offers it at $350 for 30 minutes or $400 for 45 minutes.
6. Statement Décor and Finishing Touches
A few smaller upgrades make a big difference in photos:
- Upgraded head table ($225): includes king and queen chairs.
- Birthday chair ($125): a statement chair for the guest of honor.
- Fresh flower centerpieces ($55 each): included in the Paradise Package.
- Ice sculptures (from $380): custom designs.
- Floating cake stand ($180) and champagne wall ($180 per wall, 52 glasses; flutes sold separately).
See how these come together in our complete ballroom decorating checklist.
7. Grand Exits
End the night with a send-off photo. Grand exit options are $150 each and include 75 pieces of bubbles, confetti streamers, or handheld sparklers. For more ideas, read our creative wedding send-off ideas.
8. Which Enhancements Fit Your Event?
- Weddings: uplighting in your palette, a custom monogram, Dancing on a Cloud for the first dance, and a sparkler grand exit.
- Quinceañeras: a monogrammed dance floor for the vals, the Sparkler & Cloud Pack, the LED robot, and a 360 photo booth for the court. See our surprise dance ideas.
- Sweet 16s and birthdays: the Party Pack, a classic or 360 photo booth, marquee letters, and the birthday chair.
- Corporate events and galas: custom monogram projection with your company logo, uplighting in brand colors, and a photo booth with branded templates.
How Pelazzio Makes This Easy
Most venues make you hire a lighting company, a photo booth vendor, and an effects company separately, each with its own contract, arrival time, and setup rules. At Pelazzio Reception Venue, every enhancement on this menu is booked through the same Event Specialist who plans the rest of your event, and our team handles setup on the day.
- Bundle and save: the Paradise Package already includes uplighting and fresh flower centerpieces.
- Plan it all in one meeting: choose enhancements at your décor meeting, 6–8 weeks before your event.
- Built for big moments: four ground-floor ballrooms with modular walls, hosting from about 50 to 550 guests, with free parking for up to 800 vehicles.
- Bilingual planning: English and Spanish, so the whole family can weigh in.
We’re at 12121 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077, serving Houston, the Energy Corridor, Westchase, Katy, and Cypress.
